We are very very pleased to announce our new bespoke partnership with our old friends Cre8ing Vision.
Cre8ing Vision was established in 2010 by Kwame Kwaten, Andrea Euell and Nicola Charles. The concept is an evolution of Kwame Kwaten’s brainchild The Urban Music Seminar which ran from 98’-2005. This event connected aspiring young artists to industry professionals offering them first-hand knowledge about the Music Industry. Due to its popularity and rarity, the idea was revisited and expanded to create ‘Cre8ing Vision’, a movement whose ethos is to motivate, educate and inspire, offering young people programmes and opportunities in the music industry.
Cre8ing Vision will be delivering monthly music industry masterclasses for students with our first one kicking off in a few weeks with UK artist Avelino.
AVELINO
He may have been releasing music for over a decade but Tottenham rapper Avelino hadn’t felt
ready to drop his debut album until he knew he was ready to compete with the all-time greats.
Setting such a high bar might be an obstacle to some but for Avelino approaching difficult
situations with positivity and a vision for the future is what motivates him. Over the past decade
he has established himself among the pantheon of U.K. rappers, in part thanks to his legendary
radio freestyles, including an iconic 2015 Fire In The Booth alongside Wretch 32, plus
collaborations with Dave, Skepta, Knucks, and Krept. In 2019 he was namechecked by Stormzy
as part of a roll-call of Black British music icons during his Glastonbury headline performance.
Students will have the chance to gain valuable industry insights, ask questions, play their music, get industry feedback and speak directly with music professionals.
Students will meet a range of professionals working in the music industry: Artists, Producers, A&R, Promotion, Marketing, Sync, Management and more!
