At SoundSkool, our values are more than just words — they are the foundation of our ethos, shaping everything we do. Our CRED values — Creativity, Responsibility, Excellence, and Determination — guide how we teach, learn, and support one another. For our students, these values inspire ambition, growth, and success.

For our staff team, these values promote collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to empowering young people through music. Together, we embrace CRED to create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring environment where everyone can thrive.

Alongside learning the specialist music knowledge and key skills students need to succeed in the dynamic and multifaceted music industry, we support and develop students’ general employability skills throughout the course.

Our courses are designed to prepare students to move into more advanced learning, get a job or create a (music) business. SoundSkool therefore expects all students to behave professionally at all times and attend all lessons on time.

We also recognise that success in music — and in life — isn’t just about talent or skill, but about feeling supported, seen and confident in yourself. That’s why personal development, wellbeing and emotional growth are woven throughout everything we do.
