We welcomed the new year with a masterclass from our partners Cre8ing Vision and their guest Mel Ijieh. Mel works as an A&R for the label 5k Records which is part of the Sony group.
Mel shared her story of how she worked her way up in the world of A&R and some of the sacrifices that she made to get to where she is today. We were all very interested to hear about her journey and students’ recognised what it takes to find these roles, the skills you need and the determination that you must possess.
