Music Business Teacher & Welfare Lead

Our Music Business teacher, Giza joined the Soundskool Music College team in 2017 as a Trainee teacher and volunteer Learning support assistant. Originating from the French West Indian island of Guadeloupe, Giza grew up rocked by a rich variety of music.

While traveling the Caribbean, she started to gain hands-on experience in the Music Industry at age 19, when she was involved at the time in the planning of prestigious live music events in the caribbean.
After moving to London in 2000, Giza fell in love with the city and its multiculturalism. She studied the cultural industries at the City University of London which led her to undertake a Music Business course at the University of Westminster where she achieved a post-graduate diploma.

With 15 years experience in the Music Industry, Giza has worked as an Indie Record Label Manager, Live Event Promoter on the London scene, and at present an Independent Music Consultant offering business advice to various music artists. Giza also is also now undertaking a Music Business MA at Tileyard Education to further her knowledge and skills in the ever changing music industry.

An advocate for young people with SEMH needs, Giza is also the Welfare Lead and part of our safeguarding team. She strives to help all our students develop a positive sense of self-esteem while achieving their best potential. She enjoys working at Soundskool, teaching a subject she is passionate about, dedicated to sharing her Music Business expertise and supporting young creatives in building their music career.
