We are very excited to welcome Pamela Christie as our new Head of College at SoundSkool. Pamela joins us with an incredible background in both the arts and education, and her leadership marks an important step forward for our community.
Pamela has spent over 20 years working in creative education. Beginning her journey as a performer, she went on to hold senior leadership roles including Director of Creative Arts and Deputy Head. Alongside her experience, she brings an impressive set of qualifications: an MSc in Mental Health & Wellbeing in Education, an MA in Music Psychology in Education, and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).
Her approach to leadership is rooted in creativity, empathy, and inclusion. Pamela is passionate about making sure students feel supported not only in their studies but also in their personal growth and wellbeing. She believes strongly in education as a transformative force, especially for young people whose talents shine through music and the arts.
At SoundSkool, Pamela will work closely with staff and students to continue building an inspiring, safe, and collaborative environment. Her focus on both excellence and wellbeing fits perfectly with our mission of changing young people’s lives through music…
