Student Experience
We believe there is more to education than lessons and assignments. That's why everything we do bridges learning and real experience, from studio days with industry partners to live performances, masterclasses and personal development sessions. The friendships and connections you build here will follow you long after you leave.
We've got your back
We understand that life as a young person in London isn't always easy. Our support team is here for you- whether you need academic guidance, pastoral care, or just someone to talk to.
Events, Trips & Masterclasses
Regular guest speakers, label visits, festival trips and masterclasses from industry professionals are woven into the SoundSkool timetable throughout the year. Recent highlights include attending Production Futures at the Roundhouse, studio days with industry partners and collaborative projects with organisations like the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
Progression is at the heart of everything
SoundSkool students go on to universities, higher education, internships, freelance careers and into the music industry itself. Over 80% of our graduates who apply for university are offered places.
University & Higher Education
Our Level 3 Extended Diploma is accepted by universities across the UK as equivalent to three A-Levels. Our dedicated progression team provides support with UCAS applications, personal statements and open day preparation to give every student the best possible chance of securing their first-choice university place.
Into the Industry & Freelance
Many of our graduates go straight into the music industry as producers, performers, session musicians and label staff, while others build thriving freelance careers. Our industry partners mean students graduate with real connections, a strong portfolio and the music business knowledge to earn and grow on their own terms.
Employability Skills
Alongside specialist music knowledge, SoundSkool develops the general employability skills that every employer values- communication, time management, professionalism, teamwork and resilience. Our CRED values framework ensures students are not just good musicians, but well-rounded professionals ready for any career.
