On Monday 9th March, SoundSkool students visited Production Futures at the Roundhouse in Camden, an exciting event bringing together employers and professionals from across the music, live events, film and TV industries.
The day gave our students the opportunity to explore real career pathways, speak directly with industry professionals, and gain insight into what working in the creative industries really looks like. From live sound and lighting to touring, production and broadcast, students were able to discover a wide range of roles behind the scenes.
Throughout the event, students attended talks, bespoke workshops, networked, and began to build confidence in navigating the industry. It was an eye-opening experience and a chance for students to start thinking more clearly about their future direction.
At SoundSkool, experiences like this are a key part of our approach, connecting what students learn in the classroom with the real world, and helping them take meaningful steps towards careers in the music and creative industries.
We’re proud to continue creating opportunities that inspire, inform, and open doors for our students.
