Phillipa Cookman is a London-based vocal and performance coach, professional singer and music educator with over 20 years of experience. She holds a BA (Hons) in Commercial Music and completed her postgraduate training at the Royal Academy of Music, where she developed a strong interest in voice science and contemporary vocal technique. She has trained with leading UK voice coaches and has completed the first year of the Estill Master Trainer programme.

Phillipa has performed internationally and toured extensively across the UK as a lead vocalist, backing vocalist and recording session singer. Her debut album reached No.1 on the UK iTunes Country Chart.

Alongside her professional performance career, Phillipa is passionate about teaching and coaching young artists. She loves working at SoundSkool because of its industry-focused approach and its commitment to supporting students as emerging artists, helping them build confidence, technical skill and a clear pathway into the music industry.
