Nikki Smash is a songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, and creative director with nearly two decades of professional experience across recording, touring, production, and artist development. Known for a cinematic and emotionally powerful musical style, Nikki’s work balances dark atmospheres with strong melodic hooks, underpinned by craft, consistency, and artistic integrity.
From 2007 to 2020, Nikki fronted and wrote for The Rocket Dolls, releasing multiple albums and EPs and touring extensively across the UK and Europe. During this time, Nikki developed a reputation as both a compelling live performer and a focused songwriter, with a strong ability to shape complete projects rather than standalone tracks. Recording sessions took place at leading UK studios including British Grove Studios, AIR Studios, and Brighton Electric, providing first-hand experience of professional, industry-level production environments.
Alongside band work, Nikki has contributed as a songwriter and collaborator across a range of projects and artists, while also developing a solo instrumental project under the name Edan W Smith. This broad creative background supports a flexible, industry-aware approach to music-making and mentoring.
