What a week! Our 2025/26 Induction Week has been a huge success, full of music, creativity, and collaboration. Despite the train strikes, our new and returning students showed determination (one of our CRED values) and brought incredible energy into the building from day one.
Throughout the week, learners immersed themselves in the SoundSkool experience. They produced tracks in the studio, shared original songs and covers on stage, jumped on the decks for DJ workshops, and worked together to create and deliver their very first mini-showcase.
The atmosphere was inspiring. New friendships were born, Year 1 and Year 2 students collaborated as if they had been working together for years, and creative partnerships began to spark across different pathways. The week even included a birthday celebration for one of our team members, reminding us that SoundSkool is more than a college – it’s a family.
Induction Week closed with a vibrant student showcase. Performances highlighted the talent, courage, and passion of our learners, setting the stage for an exciting year ahead. The SoundSkool community has already shown what makes it so special: a place where young people find their voice, build their confidence, and express their creativity through music.
We’re so happy to welcome our new and returning students. This is just the beginning of another unforgettable SoundSkool journey.
