You can choose to specialise in Music Technology or Performance:
Build you production skills to an exceptional level. You will focus on developing studio expertise including recording, mixing, mastering, editing use of effects, studio etiquette and DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations). You will also complete a portfolio of professional standard productions, demonstrating your beat-making and composition alongside a curriculum vitae and electronic press kit.
A unique opportunity for you to develop your existing performance skills to a professional level. Build a comprehensive portfolio of work, which will be an invaluable resource for your progression as an artist. Your portfolio will include an EP of your own original music, a curriculum vitae and an electronic press kit. Throughout the course, you will have many opportunities to perform, record and develop your studio skills.
On either pathway you will
undertake in-depth study of the music business, including regular seminars with prominent industry professionals and expert guidance from your tutors. It is our aim to steer you towards higher education or the accomplishment of your specific music career goals.
Course Information- Level 3
What Qualifications will I achieve?
- Level 3 RSL (Rock School)- Sub diploma (1 Year)
- Level 3 RSL (Rock School)- Extended diploma (2 Year)
- GCSE or Functional Skills in English and Maths if you have not achieved grade 4 or above.
- Two weeks of work experience
- 90 UCAS points per year
Age Entry Criteria Levels 1&2
You must be a minimum age of 16 or maximum age of 18 on 1st September 2017.
Qualification Entry Criteria- Level 1
No formal qualifications needed, just a passion for music.

Start: September 2017
Complete: July 2018 (1 year sub diploma)
Complete: July 2019 (2 year extended diploma)
Commitment: 3-4 days per week depending on GCSE English & Maths qualification achieved.
